Completed in 2020
Construction of the Kolojane facility started in the second half of 2019 and was completed in 2020. Our first crop was harvested in April 2020.

Adhering to global best practice
The design, construction and activation of Kolojane farm was structured around international GAP and ISO 22000 principles. We have implemented the ISO 22000 GAP quality management system to enable accountability and traceability. DNV GL, a global independent risk management and quality assurance expert, has been enlisted as our ISO 22000 certification body for the current 2019/2020 season.
State-of-the-art facilities
The site includes an established nerve centre for fertigation, general testing and data recording. Harvesting and trimming is done by hand and/or machine and there is a hang-dry area as well as commercial dryer facilities. The site offers warehouse storage capacity where we store large volumes of product, which is ready for packaging and shipping.

Rigorous HPLC testing
Our products undergo rigorous HPLC testing, this enables us to confirm which cannabinoids are present and at what levels. This also provides us with the ability to refine our breeding, growing and harvesting strategies in a data-driven manner.
High-tech security
There is the option to extend as required. A 6km high double layer security fence surrounds the site, which is patrolled by armed guards 24 hours a day. Remote CCTV monitoring is made possible by the high-tech camera system, which also enables our team to check the site 24/7 from anywhere in the world.
Water supply
Kolojane is blessed with vast water resources.
So far, we have developed an integrated borehole and reservoir system with a water storage capacity of 2000m3 water in the reservoir, providing a total combined capacity of 1 million litres per day.

Electronic tracking
We have implemented an electronic tracking system for the products (RFID) which enables each plant to be tracked from seed shelf.
